Francois Hollande and Angela Merkel Agree to Increase Growth in Europe


The newly inaugurated French president, Francois Hollande, and the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, agree to work closely on growth in Europe during their first official meeting in Berlin.The two leaders sat down for a working supper and the menu was diplomatic: rind de bouillon with vegetables and pancake stripes, asparagus with veal schnitzel, followed by srawberries and ice cream and cheese and grapes, along with German wines.[source: www.guardian.co.uk]
