By Gopakumar Nediyath

In response to rising demand for Shariah-Compliant investment opportunities, FTSE has developed a range of Shariah indices that provide a broader Shariah index solution for Islamic investors. The FTSE Shariah Global Equity Index Series is based on the Large and Mid Cap stocks in the FTSE Global Equity Index Series universe.Screening is then undertaken by Shariah Consultants, Yasaar Research Inc, against a clear set of guiding principles.

These indices exclude business that offer products and services that are considered non-Shariah law compliant, such as stocks of Companies that operate in alcohol, entertainment, financial services, pork related products and tobacco, as well as Companies where debt is more than 33% of the total assets.Yasaar Scholars, who apply the Shariah Screening to the FTSE Global Equity Index Series, represent all of the major Shariah Schools of thought, creating a best practice approach that has credibility across all regions of the Islamic world.

In addition to the FTSE Shariah Global Index Series, FTSE works with a range of stock exchanges around the world to offer domestic Shariah-Compliant Solutions. These include the FTSE Bursa Malaysia EMAS Shariah Index Series, FTSE NASDAQ Dubai Shariah Index Series, FTSE SET Shariah Index and FTSE SGX Sharia Index series.More recently FTSE has extended its Shariah investment opportunities to include other asset classes such as cammodities; with the world's first Sharia-Compliant FTSE Physical Industrial Metals Index series.

Earn Quick Money from Stock Market

Stock Market is a public market for the trading of listed company stocks and derivatives at an agreed price. When coming to invest in stocks, new investors need some quick reference to understand the function of Stock Market and strategies in trading.Stock market can divided into two parts. One is Primary market and the other is Secondary market.Primary market involves in the new issues of shares and bonds directly from the listed companies. This is called public issue. When an investor buys a stock of a Company, he is called a share holder or stock holder of that company.

"Stock Exchange" is the secondary market which provides trading facilities for Stock Brokers and traders. There we have to buy or sell second hand shares of any listed company. For example, you can buy second hand shares of any listed company like TATA MOTORS, VIP Industries, Uco Bank, Vijaya Bank etc.Imagine that if you buy 100 shares of TATA MOTORS at a price of Rs.300 and you sell it when the price is 310, so the difference is your profit.i.e Rs 1000.Otherwise the price is dropping and you sell it at Rs.290, then you loss Rs.1000.In India most stock trading activities are done through an intermediary called a broker.Stock Broker is a regulated professional who buys and sells shares and other financial securities through market makers or agency firms on behalf of investors and traders. They executing buy and sell orders submitted by an investor charges a fee.

To be able to buy or sell shares in the stock markets a client would need to be registered with a stock broker who holds membership in stock exchanges and is registered with SEBI.To start trading in shares, Indian citizens have to open a trading account with a stock broker and a DP account with a Depository Participant. The client can approach any DP of their choice and fill up an account opening form.At the time of opening an account, the client has to sign an agreement with the DP in a NSDL prescribed standard agreement, which details the clients and their DP's right and duties.

Investment in good equity shares brings different types of returns such as capital appreciation, dividend, bonus and right shares etc.Capital gain is the difference between buying price and selling price of a share.People buy shares with the view of selling at a better price and this difference is one of the most important gain from equity investment. In a right issue, a company issues new shares by giving existing share holders the right to purchase new shares in proportion to their existing holding.Dividend is the part of profit distributed by the company among its investors.Bonus share is a share issued by the companies to their share holders free of cost by Capitalization of accumulated reserves from the profits earned in the earlier years.

Share trading requires study, dedication and experience.Product knowledge is must.If you want to make quick money investing in stocks, you need to be a good at money management technique.Getting more profit depends upon your knowledge and experience.Successfully opening a demat account you are ready to do buying and selling of shares in Stock Exchanges like BSE(Bombay Stock Exchange) and NSE(National Stock Exchange).Stock exchanges make arrangements to change the ownership of shares from Seller to Buyer, collect some fee to process the trades. In India Stock Exchanges are regulated by an authority named SEBI(Securities and Exchange Board of India).

How to make money from Stock Options?

How to make money is a common question and most of the people might be looking forward to get an ideal answer in their dream. There are many ways to make money legally.Stock Market trading is a proper way to make money easily.Remember that once again profit and loss are the two inseparable features of the stock market.More and more investors getting attracted to trading quick money but often lost their hard earned money in the absence of any analytical  knowledge. They do not understand the difference between Trading and Gambling.Buy and Sell equities at a market price is called Share trading. The difference amount is your profit or loss.

Option trading is another way to make quick money from the Stock Market. If you want to make money investing in stocks or derivatives, you need to be good at money management technique. The key to consistently making money by trading and investing in the stock market is depend upon your knowledge and experience.Trading in share or derivatives requires study, dedication and experience.Meaning of "Derivatives" is a financial instrument, an agreement between two people or two parties. It is a financial contract with a value linked to the expected future price of the share or a currency, notable kinds of derivatives are "Futures and Options." Do your own study and avoid emotions in stock market trading.Experience about markets getting through reading and market analysis.Domestic and international news, Company updates, government news are the materials for analyse the market.

An option is a contract that gives the owner the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell a security at a particular price on or before a certain date.Investors buy and sell options just like stocks. There are two basic type of options.1.The call option 2.The put option.Option trading is a unique and easy way of profiting from the stock markets. You can benefit from a stock price rise without incurring the cost of buying the stock outright. When buying a call or put option, the risk is limited to the premium and you cannot loss more than the premium paid at outset. If the share price does not go in the direction you anticipated, you can simply leave your option to expire without exercising it.

The premium is the price of the option and is paid by the buyer to the writer or seller, of the option. The premium is the price at which the contract trades. In return, the writer of the call option is obligated to deliver the underlying security to an option buyer if the call is exercised or buy the underlying security if the put is exercised. The writer keeps the premium whether or not the option is exercised. The call option is the right to buy the underlying security at a certain price on or before a certain date. You would buy a call option if you anticipated the price of the underlying security was going to rise before the option reached expiration. The put option is the right to sell the underlying security at a certain price on or before a certain date. You would by a put option if you felt the price of a stock was going down before the option reached expiration. You certainly do better if you are educated before you begin.Trading Pro System-Trade Stock and Options is the best way to you to get educated.Make money regardless of weather the market goes up or down; better than Forex,Penny stocks,Day trading and Swing trading.

Knowledge is power; Charity begins at home; A rolling stone gathers no moss

Proverbs are short and pithy sayings, that express some traditionally held truths. They are usually metaphorical and often, for the sake of memorability, alliterative.

'Knowledge is power' means one can progress further in life if one is educated, or holds a lot of information.Knowledge make it possible for you to act.

'Charity begins at home' means that a person's first obligation should be to help the member of his own family before he can begin thinking of talking helping about others.A person's first duty is to help and care for his own family.

'A rolling stone gathers no moss' is a commonly used proverb.A 'rolling stone' refers to a wanderer, unable to settle to any job or lifestyle and therefor characterized as unreliable and unproductive.A person who never settles in one place or who often changes his job will not succeed in life and one who is always changing his mind will never get anything done.If a person keeps moving from place to place, thy gain neither friends nor possessions.
